What is THRIVE?

THRIVE provides a FREE wraparound and individualized service to help improve family opportunity by providing parents/caregivers with development, employment, and skills in a safe space environment while simultaneously providing child minding activities and care for pre-school children in an environment where lower-income families are welcomed and supported without judgement.

Parents/caregivers will be upskilled with employment readiness programming, and young children will be readied with important developmental skills, enabling a supportive and smoother transition into school years with a working adult.

You can participate from Monday to Friday, starting daily at 9:30 for 3 consecutive weeks, and includes:

·        Work Readiness Workshops
·        Work Readiness Skill Development & Career Coaching with an Employment Advisor
·        Child Minding with an RECE
·        And, Family Work Readiness Planning

This is the perfect opportunity for like-minded individuals to learn from each other, understand what some community supports and resources could look like for them, and position their family to learn what it’s going to take to have a parent or caregiver go to work.
