A stable home provides a foundation on which to build a path out of poverty. That’s why Port Cares offers housing and crisis support to members of our community in-need. Our location at 92 Charlotte St. is open Monday to Friday to help you.

I need help with housing
We can attempt to help people living on the street, at risk of homelessness, in unsuitable housing or living in a shelter. We can help you prevent eviction and avoid homelessness by connecting you to the resources and services that can support you. Our Housing Help Coordinators can:
Help you find emergency shelter
Help you find suitable housing
Help identify and support you in achieving life goals
Mediate landlord and tenant disputes
Fill out application forms for Niagara Regional Housing
Help with new and replacement ID
Refer you to helpful services
Refer you to trusteeship
If you have recently become homeless, please phone 211 and you will be directed to our services.
